MADD Gives Local Law Enforcement Officers Awards

As you might suspect, MADD works closely with law enforcement across the state of Tennessee. MADD just recently passed out the 100/200 Awards to many law enforcement officers around the state at the annual Tennessee Life Savers Conference. The conference was held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel August 28-29. The conference goal is to develop strategies, build alliances, and communicate agendas towards reducing the number of fatalities and injuries on Tennessee's roadways.

Here is a list of the 100/200 award recipients. These officers had 100 or 200 DUI arrests in the past year.

MADD's motto for this year's Law Enforcement Appreciation Month is "Chipping Away at Drunk Driving". This October, MADD volunteers will be going around to area precincts passing out bags of chips to say "Thank You" to the local law enforcement and show our appreciation for all that they do to keep our roads and communities safe. If you are interested in participating in your area please call us as 615-360-8055.
